Dermal fillers treatments are injectable treatments where Hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin. They reduce the appearance of unwanted wrinkles, fine lines, help contour, create/add volume or replace lost volume, and revitalise the skin and help demise the signs of aging.

what we offer

The types of dermal filler used at Emma Hart Aesthetics are non-animal derived, biodegradable fillers with the purest hyaluronic acid, which have great longevity due to its highly cross-linked formula. We use multiple different brands and types of fillers dependent on the area treating for example when we treat tear troughs we only use Teosyal® PureSense Redensity II but for lip fillers we most commonly use Revolax Deep.

Dermal fillers are a soft injectable gel consisting of stabilized, non-animal hyaluronic acid. It is long-lasting with some treated areas seeing longevity of 18 months, but it is not permanent . Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in the bodies joints.

Hyaluronic acid which binds water is important in regulating water balance in skin, it can can store 1000 times its weight in water so its great at plumping the skin.

Dermal fillers can give a natural looking result that does not affect facial expression unlike other treatments which freeze the facial muscles however we do also provide other anti aging treatments for lines and wrinkles.

The most common areas treated are:

  • Nose to mouth lines (the nasolabial folds)
  • Mouth to chin lines (the marionette lines)
  • Lips (adding volume and shape)
  • Cheeks & Jaws (contouring)
  • Chin (profile balancing)
  • Non surgical nose job
  • Tear Trough (hollow under eyes)

Topical anesthetic cream is also used prior to treatment to ensure clients are kept comfortable at all times, we also provide each client with a full aftercare kit to help the healing and settling process.

Possible Complications
As with any aesthetics treatment there is always an element of risk, however after extensive training here at Emma Hart Aesthetics, we are trained and insured to dissolve filler following an initial patch test in case of an emergency and fully equipped to deal with complications should they arise just as any medic would.

We not only are able to treat and handle any complications but we also provide a full and in-depth consultation prior to any treatment at which time an extensive medical form is completed.

A treatment plan is devised with sensible end goals, if our practitioner feels the client is under any disillusion or has a disproportionate end goals we will simply turn the client away.

We pride ourselves on enhancing your natural look, if we feel your end goal is not suitable we will be upfront and inform you the treatment will not go ahead. We are trained professionals and will advise accordingly, we will not take your money and carry on treating you knowing that harm or long term side effects could be caused.
